As usual, online fashion retailer ASOS has their finger on the pulse when it comes to keeping us all up to date with the latest trends of the season. And what better way to showcase the key pieces you need in your wardrobe this year than with a well styled lookbook.Modelled by Robbie Wadge, the ASOS’ spring/summer 2012 lookbook incorporates all of this season’s must have pieces, including neckerchiefs, pastel hues and distinct prints – which range from Navajo and African inspired patterns to more traditional stripes and polka dots.
Not content with featuring all the key items for the season, the lookbook also includes a variety of tonal outfits (where looks are created with the use of one single colour). It is this tonal approach to dressing that is set to become yet another major trend of SS12.
Our favourite looks happen to be the tonal examples. The all blue outfits shown below prove that single coloured attire is not only a great way of putting all of your existing blue/navy garments to good use, but by combining various tones within your outfit, it helps create a simplistic yet well constructed look.
Overall, this lookbook perfectly represents spring/summer 2012 men’s fashion in a thoroughly considered and well rounded collection. To shop the entire range head over to ASOS.
