Pierre Balmain Men’s AW12 Lookbook

The secondary diffusion line from French fashion house Pierre Balmain have just released their latest lookbook ready for the autumn/winter 2012 season. Modelled by Adrien Sahores, the range is aimed at a slightly younger clientele.
Comprised of both a lookbook and short black & white film, the collection has been inspired by late 50s/early 60s French and Italian films.
The imagery has been predominately shot against a plain background so as not to distract your attention away from the clothing, yet in a surprising twist the flooring features a geometric, eye catching pattern – adding a sense of playfulness to the shoot.
The monochromatic line sticks to a colour palette of black, white, grey and navy, giving the range an understated sense of cool and sophistication. Unlike many brands on the market this line doesn’t follow trends, instead opting to purely focus on smart and beautifully tailored garments. This autumn/winter 2012 collection consists of timeless wardrobe staples that will take you from season to season, complete with the versatility to take you from day to evening.
