Billionaire Boys Club x Mark McNairy Super Boot

An interesting collaborative effort sees American fashion designer, Mark McNairy, teaming up with Pharrell Williams’ street wear label Billionaire Boys Club in order to create a capsule footwear collection.
These brogue style boots combine classic design with contemporary detailing. The process has allowed both brands to update and put their own stamp on the traditional silhouette – creating a bang up to date footwear piece that is aimed at fashion fanatics around the world.
Utilising characteristics typically associated with brogue boots, these ‘Super Boots’ feature: punched brogue detailing, Goodyear Welted, waxed rolled laces and a premium leather construction.
Following on from previous Mark McNairy footwear collections, the range is once again being manufactured in the UK – Northampton to be precise.
So what makes these boots stand out? Well, each designer’s signature traits are easily identifiable within the design – the distinct bold coloured outsole and matching heel tab is typical of Mark McNairy’s style, whilst the instantly recognisable BBC logo is located prominently on the tongue.
The Super Boot is available in three colour ways, all of which feature a black main body. Where each colour way differs however, is through the accent colour utilised – either yellow, red or blue.
Undoubtedly pleased with the end result, Pharrell has uploaded a photo of himself sporting the yellow and black colour way to the official BBC blog (you can see the post here).
