GHANAIAN DESIGNER ABAYA DAKE LAUNCHES SANKOFA COLLECTION!

For those who agree you will be pleased to know about emerging Ghanaian fashion designer Abaya Dake who has mastered the technique of using prints in his work. He studied at the Vogue style school of Fashion & Design in Ghana and is currently pursuing an advance creative and design skills at the Lindenwood University in Missouri. Dake took a bold step to launched his Sankofa collection a few days ago, his presentation showcased five pieces of beautiful feminine silhouettes . On a colour of palette of white, red, turquoise blue, orange and cream, we saw elegance and consistency which we normally associate with established designers. Although minimum prints were used, one can still correlate with the theme, the collection is a sneak peak of what Mr. Dake is yet to release. For me my favourite piece in this collection is the short white fitted dress, with prints on the torso and architectural inspiration on the hips.
