EMERGING DESIGNERS COMPETITION AT THE FAFA INSIGHT 2012

On 30th of June 2012 is was at the Sierra Lounge to attend the Emerging Designers competition which was being held and organized by FAFA. Their were 17 designers and each designer had to showcase 5 pieces to the panel of judges and 3winners had to be chosen. I must say i was greatly impressed on the designs which were being showcased. The amount of talent, originality, and creativity that was put into consideration while this designers were making there pieces is just great. I must say the future in Kenyan fashion in going to be great. FAFA is doing a great job in sourcing for emerging and talented designers and with this we back them up 100%. Randolph was there to do the models hair and he did an amazing job. CEO of Kikoromeo Ann MacCreath for her wonderful organization and also the FAFA team. Jamil Walji took first place as the Emerging designer and will have centre stage to showcase his work during the annual event on 17th November and Joseph Kimeu took first place as best emerging model and Elsie Njeri was second. We are looking forward to more of this.
