DIESEL & EDUN unveils their Final Studio Africa Collection for Fall/Winter 2013

In its second and final season, Studio Africa the initiative of Diesel’s Renzo Rosso , Bono and Ali Hewson of Edun  present a 36 piece collection of apparel entirely made in Africa with cotton from Uganda. Rooted in the celebration of a new generation of musicians from various countries in  Africa the look book features Spoek Mathambo, a rapper and producer from Johannesburg, Faarrow, Somali sisters ( above) Siham and Iman Hashi and Olugbenga, a Nigerian DJ, producer and remixer.The collaboration began in January 2012, when Diesel founder Renzo Rosso and EDUN founders Ali Hewson and Bono traveled to Uganda and Mali. There they shared their love for Africa, toured each others developmental programs and decided to come together to further apparel trade and development in Africa with a co-branded & co-designed collection.
