FOCUS MEETING TO RAISE KENYA'S FASHION.

 Over the last few years, Africa has attracted a number of key investors which has in turn prompted the growth of the Fashion industry. Kenya has been part of this evolution which is evident by the number of international designers and brands investing millions of dollars into the Kenyan market.
  To be honest, the industry has had its own fair share of ups and downs. We have seen a lot of challenges experienced by both the designers and consumers thereby affecting retailing and the Ready To Wear collections. Due to this Diana Opoti together with Ann McCreath have come up with a focus group which is held at Kikoromeo Store located at Yaya Centre from 7pm - 9pm  on Wednesdays. 
Some of the points which are being discussed is how we are going to take this industry forward through the various marketing & sales possibilities we have currently and discussing what's missing. To me this is a great initiative which everyone should tap into. Both designers, fashion bloggers, stylists and also magazine editors should have the urge to know how to build both the Kenyan Fashion market and also their brands in a much bigger and professional way. Its time we all stood up and raised this industry.
