MOMBASA CITY FASHION WEEK 2014

First of all I would like to wish each of my readers a Happy New Year. I trust that all of you had a great holiday and that each one of you is doing good. Am back now, which means i will be doing more posts from now on :) ( a break is always needed).
Ever imagined a Fashion Week in the Sun... If so Mombasa City Fashion Week is your next destination this year. To be held in October, one is bound to experience Fashion from the best designers and lots of Entertainment in Mombasa. Lead by the two co-founders Patricia Mbela and John Chacha, they are bound to make this an annual event whereby Fashion and Music can be a unique and wonderful experience. All shows will be produced by Jan Malan, one of Africa's leading Show producer which means high standards will be met through out the fashion week.
The theme for this year is UNDER THE AFRICAN SKIES which promotes creativity, elegance, unique flavour and style that is much the African Spirit.
The MCFW’s mission is focused on generating visibility for Kenyan talents and as well as Africa’s talent creating a platform for these talents to exchange ideas and learn from each other.  This event, the first of its kind in the Coast region, will have fashion shows on a runway of international standards, a fashion market and every day will be topped off by live performances from leading musical acts from Kenya and a surprise act from the continent. It will capitalise on the local population of Mombasa and the Coast province.
