Nigerian fashion label Tzar has revealed the lookbook for its Resort’14 collection, aptly titled “Avian Paradise.”
Drawing inspiration from the elements,
owner and creative director Ian Audifferen returns to the label’s staple
niche: vibrant, eclectic prints. This time however, the designer pays
homage to the visual charm and artistic freedom associated with the
Aves.
Featuring chiffon sleeves, light cotton
and contrast collars, the collection entails clean-cut long shirts with a
fitting airiness and modern chinoiserie-style bird motifs that offer a
fanciful display of feathers and tropical flora. Shot by photographer
Alistair Englebert Preston within a botanical paradise, Audifferen had
this to say of the new collection;
“[Avian Paradise is] an obsession over exotic birds interpreted into prints represented on a white canvas of marquisette cotton fabric.”
