With the warm weather we are currently experiencing in Nairobi, one can only respond by wearing light clothes so that you don't suffocate from from too much heat. I have been forced to be dressed in easily breathable clothes that can work for me the whole day when am either working on a blog post or running to a meeting. Days like this I usually opt for fitting skinny denim trousers, either a long sleeved shirt or short sleeved and a hat to cover my head from too much sun.

I paired up this black long-sleeved mandarin collared shirt with a light blue fitting skinny jeans, black framed sunglasses, converse shoes and a wide brim hat.

I wore this look last weekend and as I was walking I was constantly holding my hat from being blown away with the wind. Damn you wind.. lol😆😆

Happy 2017 y'all😃. I hope you all had a lovely, safe holiday and that your more relaxed than ever to slaaay this year. I too took sometime off to travel and enjoy new experiences that I haven't had before. If you haven't read part one of my travel tales then you can catch it here when you get the time.
To continue with this post... I traveled down to Eldoret and Kerio Valley. In Eldoret I stayed at the luxurious Starbucks Hotel which was very good. The hospitality is amazing and its closer to most parts of the town and the airport (for those who are traveling through air). I would recommend staying their if you are in Eldoret. Kerio Valley was my next adventure where I got to experience God's beautiful art.
The landscape was very refreshing and the air fresher than mint orbit chewing gums if you know what I mean..lol..!!😂 I was most excited to experience the paragliding part of it which was Epic!! I was literally screaming in happiness and joy. You too can go and enjoy the paragliding at Kerio Valley Paragliding . Plus there is a great hotel around their known as Kerio Valley Hotel which is fantastic as well. As am writing this am filled with reminisces of that trip and my whole holiday in general. Details of what I have worn on the pictures will be attached below and I will leave you with a travelling quote which says "we travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us".

If there is one item in my closet that I never miss is a white t-shirt or shirt. If you've followed me on The Lifestyle Spread or kept up with me on social media, you know this is true. You can easily tuck in your white basic t-shirt in your slim denim jeans and add on a rolled bandana or you can also wear your white shirt with tailored pants and sneaker trainers to make it a 'YES' look. Simple minimalistic looks most times are the best to go for.
With that said, its comes to no surprise that with this look I wore a round-neck white mid length side cut shirt which I matched with slim fitting grey trousers, tan brown dial watch and black slip on shoes. Try different looks with your white shirts or t-shirts, you will thank me later when you get what works for you.

I have gotten a lot of questions over the last couple of months asking me why I don't post more than one article on the blog per week, and my answer is that I like giving out incredible posts to all my readers and followers. To me quality in pictures, information and projects is something I look forward too at any given time plus am very soon coming up with a fantastic collaboration which you all have to stay tuned to.
When it comes to tailored trousers or suits they've got to hit three of my checkmarks: comfortable, cool and price-conscious. For this look I wore tailored checked patterned trousers, navy blue long sleeved dress shirt, black strap shoes and Dapper St Mawes Daniel Wellington watch .
Trying out different looks isn't bad, it refines your style in the long run!!
