Sunday, April 01, 2012

On Saturday 31st March i was at the seed of hope to witness the Anniversary of Kumi Kommunity which was starting at 1pm-4pm. There were interesting stuff happening there as there were neck pieces by a collection line called KUSHUKA, which was made of made of pieces made of african fabric and pendants collected from different contries which some of them were from natiral forms while others made from beads. Then there was a collection of clothes show cased which was given the name GREEN as they were made from recycled fabric and the clothes were quite eye catching as i may say plus there were shirts created by PEPERUKA which have different prints on them and they were celebrating the Late Wangari Maathai. The pieces being sold were helping the Seed of Hope Kommunity which is an organization which takes in and moldes children who arent able to fend for themselves or go to school. The event was quite good with lots of entertainment from the students there.
Plus i caught up with people with beautiful neck pieces. Though there weren't any male collections, the females will surely enjoy this!!.
