Dr. Martens Spring/Summer 2013 Footwear Collection

Dr. Martens is one of those companies; purveyors of quality British footwear.
A sneak-peak of next year’s collection has come courtesy of the Bread & Butter fashion trade show, which has just finished in Berlin. It seems Dr. Martens have experimented with camouflage, dog-tooth and even tie-die when it comes to pattern – and have been just as bold in terms of colour, with oil-esque and metallic tints appearing in amongst the more traditional finishes. Studs and spikes, popularised in recent years by Louboutin et al, have also been used for texture and detail.
However, whilst the eye-catching appearances of the collection will no doubt be the main focal point, it should also be mentioned that little else has changed. I am pleased to say that the solid materials, precise stitching and overall quality of the products has not been compromised. With the current mumble being positive, I’m sure you’ll agree that from the pictures, 2013 is already looking promising.
Looking good isn’t important, it’s everything.
