Have you ever been to an amazing place whereby your imagination runs wild because of how gorgeous the place looks? Well that just happened to me when I got the opportunity to be at The King Post . The King Post located along Raphta Road here in Nairobi has a Swahili vibe to it which makes you appreciate its architecture and design. For a moment I thought I was in the coastal region because of the embellishments it has. The King Post consists of studio 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments available daily and on long term basis, gym and spa, cafe' Chumba, and Jabeens' salon( I will talk about this in my next posts :) ) . Did I also mention the decor inside the apartments with the amazing window views and great appliances. I wish I could live here longer but sadly everything nice comes to an end :( .. hahaha
If your coming to Nairobi and your looking for an amazing place to stay I definitely recommend The King Post. Its exquisite!!
Now back to the outfit, to get comfortable I wore a yellow crewneck sweatshirt which I matched with a floral printed shirt, grey skinny denim trousers and ash grey socks. Looking great chilling is also cool!! :)

Alexander McQueen x PUMA 2012 Fall/Winter Joust Mid

Over the past few years Puma has collaborated continuously with high fashion giants Alexander McQueen in their Black Label initiative. The outcomes have been a perfect blend of traditional sports silhouettes and a level of quality and detail usually reserved for the upper realms of the fashion world. The Joust is their latest collaborative effort and stays true to form.
‘Medieval Protection’ is the theme of the new collection (hence the name Joust) which has been both subtly and more obviously entwined with the design. The importance of durability in medieval combat is stressed by the chunkiness of the boot-like trainer, whilst the ribbing to the toe, tongue and upper is a consideration of the flex required for movement in battle. The sole is the true protector (from the ground of course) so fittingly features a chain-mail inspired pattern.
The colourways provided also help to tell the story. The metallic silver of knights in their shining armour, the earthy brown pony skin of the steed ridden into battle and the black ‘moonless night’ all reflect and add to the collection.
The Joust really keeps to the efforts we have previously witnessed from this on-going partnership. No doubt the sporty design will make for a comfortable and supportive trainer that most certainly could be worn daily, but the attention to detail regarding the theme and particular materials used is the gift you receive from collaborating with those at a different position on the fashion scale.
