I can never get tired of layering or pulling out those cold season sweaters. Those are the favorite part of being bombard with frisky weather and constant umbrella struggles. Apart from trench coats which I love, sweaters do the trick most of the time too. Of late I have been attracted to neutral colours and I tend to go for those most times when am shopping. Of course colours are my closet friends too but neutrals are cool too and I love them.
With this look I went for a simple look but matched it with timeless pieces which for me can't go out of style for a long while. I wore a light grey shawl collar cardigan which I matched from slim fit denim trousers, striped top collar shirt, ash grey shoes and accessories from local artisans within Nairobi. Each year when November is wrapping up I always find myself making a list of things that I am grateful for. Growing up in a house full of siblings and love from my parents, I would always find myself being thankful for having people who could listen to me and embrace me in every situation I was faced with. While I am still thankful for that (and being alive), I am thankful for every opportunity that I have been able to get and the amazing people that have elevated me to being the human being that I am today. It doesn't seem like much but every support and recognition I get fills my heart with joy and gratitude.  Even if we haven't met in real life but you have supported me all I can say is thank you and with that I send you big internet hugs right now. Of course I wouldn't by here today if it wasn't for the man above. His love and blessings mean a lot to me each day and with that I am ever grateful.
In this post I went for a more neutral look. Being a fan of neutral looks this season I wore a white printed long sleeved shirt from Old Navy which I matched with dark beige slim fit chino pants, black leather belt and blue loafer shoes.

Its unbelievable that this year is about to end. Wasn't it just yesterday that people were noting down their new year's resolutions. I hope that each one of you have accomplished half of the milestones you had put down. Well I guess I am happy by how much I have been able to do this year. Everything has been incredible and amazing. Although we still have one month to go, so far so good :).
Each day I get to wake up and choose what will make me look the part on that particular day. Whether I am going to work, a meeting, garden parties, or meeting up with friends. How I look symbolizes a lot to me. That's why I have to make sure I plan early on my schedule to know what is expected of me each week (as they say planning early is planning to succeed). I decided to wear a pinstriped waistcoat which I matched with a blue long sleeved denim shirt, polka dot slim tie, camel coloured fitting trousers and black buckle shoes.
I guess am looking the part now :)

Its not normal to find me posing by the road side in broad day light and if you spot me then luck is on your side my friend. If I have to shoot beside the busy sidewalks their must be something special about that place that is making me withstand the constant car stares and the normal side looks from passing individuals. I am a little shy I won't deny that but I will do anything to get amazing shots for sure (I know I am not the only one who will agree to that).
With the beautiful wall of leaves and amazing trees surrounding the place, I thought that was a brilliant place to shoot this look since it contains a lot of individualism in it. I love silk shirts. The feeling on the body is amazing and one just looks extremely dapper when your wearing one. I don't own many silk shirts so when I spotted this printed silk shirt from Trends Limited(0724122743) I just fell in love once again. I loved how it fitted me and how chic it looked.
I matched the printed silk shirt with a navy blue fitting trouser, casual boat shoes from Jumia Kenya , round framed sunglasses from Kenya Vintage store and navy blue belt from Marks and Spencer .
If your up to trying new styles in your life then I would recommend silk shirts as one of them. One can easily transition this look for a night out or even holiday parties.

The sun is always amazing but sooner or later I start missing the cold weather where by I get to wear my jackets and trench's. Don't get me wrong a little rain isn't bad since it clears up the pathways from dust and you get cool air but so much rain on the other hand scares the s**t out of me. Who wouldn't want to snuggle up at home during the cold season and watch Empire or Scandal... I know I would love that.
Due to the mix weather we are having (one time its raining plus cold and the other moment is sunny) I try to wear semi warm clothes that can easily be transitioned when the weather gets warm. No one would like to get caught in a warm trench coat when the weather suddenly turns warm and sunny. Thankfully, I hit the jackpot on a cozy quilted deep navy blue boomer jacket from Mr Price which I matched with my solid staples pieces which are blue denim skinny trousers from Levi's , maroon Converse shoes and a polka dot shirt to finish of the look.
I personally love how the jacket transforms the outfit to a modern stylish look. Having solid staple pieces in one's closet is very important as one can be able to look dapper without much effort.

 "Where in the world do you put all your clothes when you buy them?", that is the most common question that am asked by people regarding my line of work and involvements. Of course as per now my closet is almost full but I know to a lot of people its a common misconception that I regularly shop clothes to wear. In reality I usually hunt for unique pieces that are easy to mix - and - match with the other stuff that I have already purchased. This way I maintain a proper balance in my wardrobe.
Recently I picked up this turquoise blue printed shirt from Fashion Loft and I have loved it ever since. You all know I am a sucker for anything printed and this just caught my eyes. I wanted the shirt to pop out so I matched the shirt with a black slim fit trouser from Fashion Loft , black buckle shoes and a black belt to finish of the look.
While your out on a date or at the supermarket, this Fashion Loft looks will definitely make you stand out.
